Amy Winehouse and boyfriend Reg Traviss secretly got engaged weeks before her death

But it has now been claimed that Reg Traviss proposed to the Back To Black and Frank albums singer amy winehouse and they were secretly engaged weeks before amy death.

A source said: “Reg asked Amy winehouse and she said ‘Yes’. She loved him.

The Sun has reported that ‘Psychosis’ film Director Reg Traviss (aged 35), presented Amy winehouse(aged 27) with a diamond ring and she accepted his proposal.

A source told the paper: ‘Reg asked Amy and of course she said “Yes”. She loved him.’

‘She wanted nothing more than to be his wife and to start a family with him. She wanted to get rid of her demons so badly.’ According to reports the couple became engaged just weeks before her death and were planning a wedding for next year.

It has been no secret that Reg, who has been with Amy’s friends and family since her shocking death, has been devastated losing the singer.

Amy’s father Mitch paid tribute to Reg speaking at Amy’s funeral last week.

He said: ‘Amy found love with Reg. He helped her with her problems and Amy was looking forward to their future together.’

Amy met Reg just two months after finally splitting from her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. But reports today have suggested that Amy was ‘heartbroken’ over Fielder-Civil when she died and was upset after he turned down her request to visit him in prison.
